Second Mongolian Type Chest

This is a  typical Mongolian type chest with two drawers above a pair of doors.  This elm chest has original paint on the drawers and doors, and replaced paint on the case itself.  The drawer interiors, hardware and interior shelf have all been replaced.  The chest was made in the first quarter of the 20th century probably in Inner Mongolia or Shanxi province.
