These three door panels obviously came from a house with additional but now gone similar doors. The top panel of each door is a highly stylized pierced bat, representing Fu or good luck. The pierced fret work is the same design in each of the three doors. Two of the doors have similar if not quite identical carved panels. The third door also has a flower carved panel. These doors originated in Shanxi province and were rescued from a destroyed house that was built about 1920.
