This large Cypress window was made in Shandong Province somewhere in the middle of the 20th century. It, as in the case of all the windows pictured on this site, came from houses scheduled for demolition. The construction is simple and the design elegant, as in the case with all the windows I have acquired. These windows are stunning when displayed on a wall. The designs, while pleasing to the eye are also restful, and radiate to me a sense of tranquility and peace.
