By now you know what a "kang" table is, and how they are used. This table is distinctive due to its cabriole legs extending to block feet. Useful today as a side table beside a chair or as a coffee table in front of a love seat, this one is made from Southern Elm (Jumu) which seems to be more highly prized than Northern Elm although for the life of me, I cannot tell why. As a matter of fact, it takes a most practiced eye to distinguish the two woods. Over 100 years old.
Wood: Southern Elm
