Pair of Stools with Carved Aprons

This pair of cypress stools was made most probably in Fujian Province right around the turn of the 20th century.  To have a pair of stools is getting harder and harder, and this pair is most unusual in that it has the carved aprons.  The paint is largely original, but may have been touched up.
