Second Pair Of Elm Stools

This pair of elm stools was made in Shandong province in the first quarter of the 20th century.  Pairs of stools are getting harder and harder to find.  This pair has cuffed feet, and the legs are joined by a humpbacked stretcher.  The legs support a molded waist on which rests a picture frame molded top.  Stools such as these make great occasional tables.  Put together, they also make an interesting coffee table.
