Coffee Table

The rattan covering is ornamental over a structurally sound wood table top. Originally a much taller baxian type table, this was skillfully cut down to preserve the carved supports connecting the legs and the top as well as the cuffed feet. The table originates in Zhejiang province and dates from about 1920.
